SAP Message AS_DATASOURCE009 - Report &1 cannot read this archive

Diagnosis
You tried to display data from archiving objects via report &V1&.However, this report is not intended to read this archive.

Procedure
Use another report to read data from the archive.
You can still use this report to read archive data in spite of thismessage, by entering the archiving object mannually (without F4-Help).However, you could get unreasonable or incomplete data.

Procedure for System Administration
If you are sure that report &V1& produces meaningful results with aspecific archiving object, you can enter the appropriate settings inCustomizing. Use transaction SM30 and enter the following informationin the table ARCH_REPOW:
&V2& &V1&
This will have the following results:

  • This message will not appear again.

  • The archiving object appears in the input help data source dialog (F4).

  • Report &V1& appears in the list of read programs in Archive
    • Adminstration (transaction SARA) of the archiving object.
