Diagnosis The archiving standard stipulates that the delete variants in thetechnical settings in archiving-object-specific Customizing must complywith a naming convention so that they can be delivered. Delete variantsmust also have a uniform name. Note the following for each archivingobject:
- The variant for an SAP archiving object must start with SAP<(>&<)>
> so that it is delivered to customers. Consequently, the test modevariant must bear the variant name SAP<(>&<)>TEST > and the livemode variant must bear the variant name SAP<(>&<)>PROD>.
- The variant for a customer-specific archiving object must start with
CUS& > so that it is available in all clients. Consequently, thetest mode variant must bear the variant name CUS<(>&<)>TEST> andthe live mode variant must bear the variant name CUS<(>&<)>PROD>.
