SAP Message ARCH_STANDARDS030 - Violation of the archiving standard "Delete Variant Name"

Diagnosis
The archiving standard stipulates that the delete variants in thetechnical settings in archiving-object-specific Customizing must complywith a naming convention so that they can be delivered. Delete variantsmust also have a uniform name. Note the following for each archivingobject:

  • The variant for an SAP archiving object must start with SAP<(>&<)>

    • so that it is delivered to customers. Consequently, the test modevariant must bear the variant name SAP<(>&<)>TEST and the livemode variant must bear the variant name SAP<(>&<)>PROD.
    • The variant for a customer-specific archiving object must start with
      • CUS& so that it is available in all clients. Consequently, thetest mode variant must bear the variant name CUS<(>&<)>TEST andthe live mode variant must bear the variant name CUS<(>&<)>PROD.
      The test mode variant entered in Customizing for the archiving objectV1 is v2 and the live mode variant is v3. therefore, at least oneof these variant names does not comply with the standard.
