Diagnosis
You tried to create statistics with subtotals or to define a page feedfor a sort field, but violated one of the following three requirements:
First of all, subtotals/page feeds can only be created for a field usedfor sorting.
Secondly, subtotals/page feeds can only be created for a field ifsorting was also selected for the preceding fields in the statisticsand if sorting is to be in ascending order.
Thirdly, there may not be any more fields with sorting whose sortnumber is less than the sort number of this field following a field tobe used for subtotals/page feeds.
For example, if you want to create a subtotal/page feed for the thirdfield (sequence number 3), you must sort by this field and the twopreceding fields. Since the sorting sequence must still be ascending,you must assign the first field sort number 1, the second field sortnumber 2, and the third field sort number 3.
You may not create subtotals or output page feeds for the followingexample. The first field of the statistics (sequence number 1) has sortnumber 2 and one of the following fields has sort number 1. It is notpossible to output a subtotal/page feed for any of the fields, not evenfor the first field.
