Diagnosis
You attempted to assign a short name to a field, but the short namecannot be used in this form. This may be due to one of the followingreasons:

• The short name has already been used for another field.


• The short name is a reserved word.


• The field already has a short name. Since the new short name is longer,
the space for defining the usage has been overwritten.
This error can occur if you attempt to exchange the short names of twofields in a dialog step.

Procedure
Choose a different short name for the field.
