However, fiscal year variant &V3& of controlling area &V1& is not thesame as fiscal year variant &V2& of the program definition.

Correct your entry.
Caution: If you are generally converting to one new fiscal year variant(for example, you are changing from a calendar year to a non-calendarfiscal year, or vice versa), then: first change the fiscal yearvariant within the controlling areas involved. Then you canmodify the fiscal year variant in the investment program definitionwithout any problems.
