SAP Message AP161 - Both multiple assignment and budget distribution not possible at once

Diagnosis
You tried to make assignment to more than one program position,including program position &V1&/&V2&/&V3&. This program position is setup for budget distribution to the measures assigned to it (directlybelow it in the hierarchy).
However, it is only possible for a program position to distribute itsbudget when the measures assigned to it are assigned only tothis program position.

System Response
The entry is rejected.

Procedure

  • Check your entry.

  • If you want to use the "multiple assignment of measures to program
    • positions" function, then you have to remove the "budget distribution"indicator in the master records of the program positions concerned andthe program type concerned.
