Diagnosis
The profit center is a required field according to the field selectionof the appropriation request.

System Response
You have to make the required entry for the profit center.

Procedure
Do one of the following:

• Enter a requesting profit center.


• Enter the requesting cost center.

The profit center and the business area are automatically adopted fromthe cost center.
If the profit center or business area are required fields, then you canonly choose cost centers in which this data has been entered.

• Change the control for the responsible profit center field so that it
is not a required field.
Note:
When the business area is adopted from the cost center, it does notnecessarily make sense to make both fields required entry fields.
