Diagnosis
The cost center is a required field according to the field selection ofthe appropriation request.
You maintained profit center &V1& and business area &V2& only.

System Response
When the cost center is a required field, you are not allowed to enterjust the profit center / business area, since the entries for profitcenter and business area are not allowed to differ from those in thecost center.

Procedure
Entering profit center &V1& and/or business area &V2& is notsufficient, since it is not possible to maintain a cost center based onthese entries.
Do one of the following:

• Enter the cost center only.

The profit center and the business area are automatically adopted fromthe cost center.
If the profit center or business area are required fields, then you canonly choose cost centers in which this data has been entered.

• Change the control for the requesting cost center field so that it is
not a required field.
