Diagnosis
The profit center is a required field according to the field selectionof the appropriation request.
You chose cost center &V1&, which is not assigned to a profitcenter.

System Response
You have to make the required entry for the profit center. You cannotenter cost center &V1&.

Procedure
Do one of the following:

• Use a different cost center.

The profit center and the business area are automatically adopted fromthe cost center.
If the profit center or business area are required fields, then you canonly choose cost centers in which this data has been entered.

• Change the control for the requesting business area field so that it is
not a required field.
Note:
When the profit center is adopted from the cost center, it does notnecessarily make sense to make both fields required entry fields.

• Assign the profit center for cost center &V1& in the master record of
the cost center.
