Diagnosis
You want to assign appropriation request &V1& as the originalappropriation request.
However, alternate request &V2& no longer has 'created' status. Sincethe appropriation request also has a different status now, it is notpossible to make assignment to original appropriation request &V1&.

System Response
Appropriation request &V1& cannot be used as the original appropriationrequest.

Procedure
Enter a different original appropriation request, for which all of itsalternate requests still have 'created' status.
Or, change the status of the appropriation request itself, and assignthe alternate requests again.
Note
When you use alternate requests, only one of the alternates is allowedto have 'approved' status and subsequently be implemented.
