Diagnosis
You tried to create, update or delete communication addresses(telephone numbers, fax numbers, E-mail addresses, etc.) for anaddress, without ensuring that after changes one communication addressis defined as the standard number for eachcommunication type for which communicationaddresses are maintained.

System Response
Error message AM 086 is sent and your changes are not made.

Procedure
Ensure that after creating, updating or deleting communicationaddresses, one communication address is flagged as standard in eachcommunication type with communicationaddresses.

Example communication type 'Telephone':

• Do not delete the standard telephone number without adding a new
telephone number flagged as standard, or flagging an existing telephonenumber as standard, unless the standard telephone number was the onlytelephone number.

• Do not clear the standard flag when you update the standard telephone
number without setting it for another existing telephone number orcreating a new standard telephone number.

• If there are not yet any telephone numbers, ensure that one number is
flagged as standard when you create them.
