SAP Message ALSMEX035 - Invalid symbol in date field

Diagnosis The '&v1&' field in the Excel input file contains an invalid symbol.The field is assigned to a date field in the asset master record.Therefore it is only permitted to contain numbers and these symbols:slash (/), period (.). The value of the field is '&v2&'. Procedure Change the contents of the field in the input file. Or, if the '&v1&'field was incorrectly assigned to a date field, create a new fieldassignment.
