SAP Message AJ788 - Inconsistent gas date for meter reading &1, device &2, register &3

Diagnosis
Gas date &v4& is later than the meter reading date &v1& from device &v2&
, register &v3&. This can happen if a default value 0 is entered for theGas Date Control in Months in the DefineAllocation Dates for Gas and the scheduled and actual meterreading dates are in different months.

System Response
Processing is cancelled.

Procedure
You have the following options:

  • Select a default higher than 0 in the Define Allocation Dates for
    • Gas table
    • Use the enhancement Change Gas Date in Meter Reading Data
      • Processing (EDMMR002) to change the gas date to the meter readingdate when a meter reading result is entered.
