SAP Message AJ242 - Dev. &1 reg. &2 per. &3-&4: no VCF (oper.vol. meter shows zero consumpt.)

Diagnosis
The register requires a gas procedure whose volume correction factorcomponent is calculated using a special procedure that uses theregister relationship calculation of volume correction factor.
The specified register indicates zero consumption for the specifiedinterval, while the corresponding standard volume meter does notindicate zero consumption. In this case, no logical volume correctionvalue can be calculated.

Procedure
Proceed as follows:
Check the meter reading results for the interval in question.
Enter any missing meter reading results or validate results that exist, but are not billable.
Billable meter reading results should usually at least be available forthe above data.
Enter the resulting register differences of the corresponding standardvolume meter and the operating volume meter in the following formula:
RNum = Standard volume / Operating volume
Therefore, a sensible RNum will only result if both volumes are notequal to zero or if both are equal to zero. Please also check the meterreading results of the corresponding standard volume meter.
If the meter reading results are correct, an internal error could alsobe involved. In this case, please contact SAP.
