You only need to enter a weighting key if you have also set theconversion factor indicator and if the weighting procedure ofthe weighting key is weighting of degree days.
In this case, a special weighted average of all conversion factors iscalculated with the specified weighting key as follows:
A weighted average is calculated for the conversion factors Ui =(calorific value Bi * volume correction factor Zi) using the degree daycoefficient totals Gi, and grouped to a single conversion factor Uaccording to the following formula:
U = total (Gi) / total (Gi/Ui)
Therefore, 1/U is the weighted average of the inverse conversionfactors 1/Ui.
