Diagnosis Schema &V1& was analyzed during billing. This schema contains an IFvariant. The conditional execution of the steps between the IF andENDIF variants requires suitable validity periods. The steps betweenthe IF and ENDIF variants cannot have a longer validity period than thestep with the IF variant. This was not the case. System Response Billing of the contract is terminated. Procedure The IF-ENDIF steps and the steps between them can belong to differentrates. However, you must then ensure that the validity period for therate of the IF variant is not shorter than the validity period for therate of the steps between the IF-ENDIF steps. Check the history of the rate determination. For the current contract, check the validity periods for the rate typesused to determine both of the rates. If the error has occurred even though all steps belong to the samerate, there is probably a gap in the validity period for the rate type. Example
- You bill the period from 01/01/1999 to 12/31/1999.
- The rate with the IF variant is determined using a rate type of the
register.
- The register is removed on 05/10/1999, and a new register is not
installed until 05/12/1999. The rate with the IF variant is determined in billing from 01/01/1999to 05/10/1999 and from 05/12/1999 to 12/31/1999. Gaps are not permittedfor rates with IF variants.
