SAP Message AH323 - ELSE variant in step &1 is invalid

Diagnosis
For the ELSE variant in step &V1&, there is not a matching IF-ENDIFclause. Possible reasons could be:

  • The ELSE variant is used outside of an IF-ENDIF clause

  • Another step with an ELSE variant already exists within the IF-ENDIF
    • clause.
