Diagnosis
You want to change the properties of benchmark for a particular validitydate for which there are already key figure values. Due to the fact thatkey figure values already exist for this date, you can change only theadministrative properties of the benchmark, such as its name, and itsauthorization group. You can change the other properties of thebenchmark only if you first delete the key figure values for thevalidity date you selected. This also applies if you want to create anew version with this validity date.
Note: You can change the currency of the benchmark only if theresults database does not contain any key figure values for thebenchmark.

Procedure
Check the validity date, and if necessary choose a different validitydate. If you want to use the same validity date, proceed as follows:

• Delete the key figure values that exist for this date. You do this by
starting a deletion run in the final results procedure, and specifyingthe benchmark and evaluation period in question.
Note: To display the evaluation period of the benchmark, chooseBenchmark -> Evaluation Data.

• Change the properties of the benchmark for the validity date required.


• Recalculate the key figure values for this new validity date. You do
this by starting the basic run for the final results procedure, andspecifying the benchmark and evaluation period in question.
