Diagnosis
You wanted to generically buffer a table which contains only one keyfield. In generic buffering, only the areas of a table whosegeneric key fields (left-justified part of the primary key) agree arebuffered. Generic buffering therefore only makes sense if the tableshave at least two key field.

Procedure
Generic buffering is not possible. Select either complete buffering orbuffering by record.
