Diagnosis
You want to buffer a table generically. When you save the tableattributes, you are asked to enter a number of key fields to be used ingeneric buffering. Since you did not enter a number <> 0, theattributes were not saved.

Procedure
Enter a number <> 0 for the number of key fields. A prompt appears whenyou save the attributes and you can enter the number here or you canspecify a number explicitly by selecting Change key field no.and then saving the attributes.
