Diagnosis
Conversions (conversion of data, changes to the database table with theexception of ADD FIELD) are not carried out directly by the activator,but are flagged for background conversion (delayed conversion). Aseparate program must be started to perform the conversion.
This is done for reasons of performance and because of the risk of DDLlocks on the tables to be converted as these prevent changes being madeto the database table.
The specified object was scheduled for background conversion.
