Diagnosis
The underlying field has the wrong type or the field length is toolarge.

Procedure
Check the definition of the domain in the ABAP Dictionary. If it iscorrect and you are dealing with a cluster table, check whether thetype and length of the field agrees with the attributes of thecorresponding cluster field.
