Area &V1& has a different currency than the local currency of itscompany code &V2&.
Generally, you only need depreciation areas in a foreign currency forgroup valuation. However, when carrying out a group consolidation, itis necessary to be able to distinguish between value differences causedby fluctuating currencies and differences because of differentvaluation bases/depreciation. Therefore, the system guarantees that youcan only define depreciation areas in a foreign currency with mandatorytakeover of APC and depreciation terms from another area (in the localcurrency).

Procedure
You can manage a depreciation area in a foreign currency and with adifferent valuation base. In order to do this, you have to first createa depreciation area (with the desired valuation base) in the localcurrency, and with mandatory, identical takeover of APC anddepreciation terms into the foreign currency depreciation area. Thereis an indicator for this in the Customizing definition of the foreigncurrency depreciation area.
