The combination of equipment category &V1& and object type &V2& isassigned to more than one asset class.

System Response
The system allows this.
However, problems can arise if the system is supposed to automaticallycreate an asset at runtime from an equipment master record that hasequipment category &V1& and object type &V2&. Then the system isusually able to determine neither the asset class nor settings for thesynchronization during future master data changes. In that case, thesystem triggers a workflow for creating the asset.

Procedure
Check whether you need to have a clear assignment to one asset class.If this is the case, change the assignment in Customizing. It is alsopossible to use the customer exit designed for this purpose todetermine the asset class at runtime.
