Diagnosis
You have changed a depreciation key in the asset master record. Therewas a variable proportion amount specified in this key (in the detailscreen of the individual depreciation area). The new depreciation keyV2 is for unit-of-production depreciation and depends on a number ofunits being entered. Therefore, the new key cannot be used with avariable proportion amount, since it is already defined for a proportionof 100 percent.

System Response
The proportional amount of &V1& was deleted.

Procedure
You have two options:

• Use a different depreciation key (if you want to continue to use the
proportional amount). Enter the variable proportion amount again inthe detail screen of the depreciation area affected.

• If you want to use the unit-of-production depreciation key &V2&, simply
press ENTER.
