The long text is controlled as an obligatory field in the field statusgroup.

System Response
Data cannot be saved if the long text has not been maintained.

Procedure
Maintain the corresponding long text. The function key F9 or themenu entry 'LONG TEXT' under the menu heading environment enable you tomaintain the long text with the SAP text system.
The Asset System recognizes different long texts. The cursor ispositioned on the missing long text.
