Diagnosis
The depreciation posting run cannot be carried out. The posting rulesin the derived area &V1& are different from the rules for area &V2&.Since these two areas are mutually dependent, they cannot havedifferent posting cycles or different distribution rules (forproportional distribution or depreciation for past periods)

Procedure
Correct your posting rules using the appropriate Customizing function.After you make this correction, you can start the depreciationposting run again.
