Diagnosis
You want to post a complete retirement. The transaction type youentered is only for acquisitions in the current fiscal year. However,prior-year acquisitions exist on the asset for at least one of thedepreciation areas to be posted.

Procedure
If you want to retire the entire asset, choose a retirement transactiontype that can be used for prior-year acquisitions. Otherwise you haveto determine the total from transactions that change acquisition valueand enter this amount as the retirement amount. Or you can change thiserror message to a warning in Customizing.
