Diagnosis
The retirement amount entered is higher than the sum of thetransactions changing the acquisition value in area &V1&. Taking intoaccount the entered asset value date and the posting period, themaximum retirement amount is &V2&.

Procedure
Check the asset value date, the posting period, and the retirementamount.
If there are also acquisitions from previous years on the asset,then you have to post the retirement of the acquisitions fromprevious years separately, using a different transaction type.
