SAP Message AA248 - You have no authorization for long text &

Diagnosis
You have chosen the 'Longtext' function. However, you cannot processlong text &V1&. Possible reasons for this are:

  • Your asset view does not allow you to edit or display long text &V1&.

  • The field group for the long text &V1& is not defined in the screen
    • layout rule &V2& to allow for changes.

    Procedure
    Check

    • the authorization of your asset view for the long text, in Customizing
      • under
      • the screen layout rule for your asset in regard to this field
        • group (in the Customizing under ).
