SAP Message 8B001 - Do not enter a CNPJ number in conjunction with a natural person

Diagnosis
The CNPJ number is definedfor legal persons, not for natural persons (sole proprietors).

System Response
The system does not allow you to enter a CNPJ number.

Procedure
Either:

  • Specify a CPF number if
    • the customer/vendor is a natural person, or
    • Do not indicate the customer/vendor as a natural person.
