Selections may only be for nodes of the same hierarchy level or forcomplete subtrees.

Procedure
To select nodes of one hierarchy level, select the first and lastnodes. There may be no hierarchy change between the first and lastnodes.
To select complete subtrees, select either the parent node of therelevant subtree or the parent node the first and last subtree you wantto select completely. The subtrees must be on the same hierarchy level.
