SAP Message 6D842 - You cannot enter a date here

Diagnosis
You want to manually insert a new renewal date between two alreadyexisting dates. This is not possible in the following instances:

  • The renewal rule that is defined in the contract does not allow any
    • changes
    • The new date is before a date that is already activated

      • System Response
      You cannot insert a new date here.

      Procedure
      If necessary, deactivate the follow-up date or define a changeable rulein the contract.
