Diagnosis
As set in Customizing, the rental agreement number is automaticallydetermined by the business entity number, the building/property numberand the rental unit number. Since the rental agreement number consistsof 13 characters, at least 2 of which are needed for a sequence number,this is only possible if the 3 number ranges consist of maximum 11characters in total (maximum 8 or 9 if a separator is defined).
Currently the business entity number consists of maximum &V1&characters, the building/property number of maximum &V2& characters andthe rental unit number of maximum &V3& characters, which, with thedefined separators, make up a total of &V4& characters.

System Response
The system cannot automatically calculate the rental agreement number.

You can set Customizing in one of three ways:
Reduce the number ranges of the objects business entity, property,building and rental unit in Customizing as required.
Set the parameter "Automatically calculate rental agreement number" to"No".
Delete the separator.
