Diagnosis If, due to the lot-sizing procedure, more order proposals are createdper date than the limit set in Customizing, the system terminates theplanning run. This can occur, for example, if you use the lot-sizing procedure withfixed lot sizes. If this lot size is set too low to cover the usualrequirement quantity, too many order proposals will be created forone date. To avoid this happening, you can define a limit value in Customizingthat limits the number of order proposals that are allowed to becreated for one date. If this limit is exceeded, the system terminatesthe planning run. Procedure Check the limit value for the maximum number of order proposals perdate in Customizing for MRP. To do this, select Maintainentries>. Or, check your lot-sizing procedure. |
