Diagnosis
The total for the area type entered is not correct. The area typeswhich are assigned to another area type are defined in Customizing. Youhave entered area values for subordinate area types which in total, donot match the value in the superior area type.

System Response
You can only carry out the save function when the totals are correct.

Procedure
Correct the area values or delete the area type you have entered or allsubordinate area types.
