Diagnosis
You have tried to display a list of persons rejected by the step, or alist of persons for which the payroll has run. However, a program fordisplaying this list has not been maintained in the variant record youhave chosen for the step in question.

System Response
The persons are not listed. Instead, the system continues to displaythe current screen.

Procedure
Call up the variant record and maintain the program used to display thepersons in question. You can do this via the menu, or by maintainingview cluster HRDKFIRMVA (for company variant records) or HRDKUSERVA(for user variant records) via transaction SM34.
For example, you can maintain the former as follows:
Company variant set > Gross payroll > Maintain display variant.
If you use a company variant set, this maintains the program used todisplay persons for whom gross payroll accounting has been performed,or persons who have been rejected. If you require an example of such aprogram, use RPPWF1M1.
