Diagnosis
The Year End Reporting utility verifies employee data before it is usedfor printing or Magnetic Media generation. The following checks areperformed in order to validate the correctness of the data reported toCanada Revenue Agency (CRA) or Ministère du Revenu du Québec (MRQ):

• The utility checks that all employee addresses are in accordance with
the specifications provided by CRA and MRQ. If the address in theAddresses infotype (0006) is found to be truncated then an errormessage is issued.

• The utility checks that a three-character ISO code exists for the
country specified in the address. (This check is specific to CRA addressspecifications for Magnetic Media filing.)

System Response
In test mode, the utility will add the employee to the Run ID generated.In production mode, the report will reject the employee and therefore,the employee will not be included in the Run ID.

Procedure


• For employee addresses that are too long, use Address Line 2 in the
Addresses infotype (0006) to enter additional information thatmay cause Address Line 1 to exceed the maximum length.

• For missing ISO codes, configure feature 07ISO accordingly.
