Diagnosis
The tax paid figure you have entered from the employee's P45 form isnot the same as the tax paid to date figure from the tax tables. Thesystem therefore enters the correct figure in the P45 Item 13field and sets the P45 Item 13 used in Payroll indicator.

Procedure
You should use the corrected figure when you next run payroll. To dothis, make sure that the P45 Item 13 used in Payroll indicatoris set.
You should also enter the corrected figure at Item 13 on Part 3 of theemployee's actual P45 form.
