SAP Message 5G261 - Intended leave start date restricts SPP entitlement

Diagnosis
You have entered an intended start date for Statutory PaternityLeave(birth or adoption) that is more than 42 days after the birth dateor placement date of the child.
Statutory Paternity Pay (birth or adoption) is payable for a period oftwo weeks, up to 56 days after the birth date or placement date of thechild. The intended start date of the Statutory Paternity Leave periodyou have entered means that the employee will not receive the full twoweek entitlement to Statutory Paternity Pay.

Procedure
This message is issued as a warning only. You should consider informingthe employee that moving the intended start of the Statutory PaternityLeave period to a date less than 42 days after the birth date orplacement date of the child will allow full entitlement to StatutoryPaternity Pay (birth or adoption).
