SAP Message 5G242 - Enter either the intended leave start date or actual placement date

Diagnosis
In the case of Statutory Adoption Pay or Statutory Paternity Pay(adoption), either:

  • The field containing the date the employee intends to start their
    • Statutory Adoption Leave period (Intended start APP)
    ,,or
    • The field containing the actual placement date of the child (Actual
      • placement) must be filled.
      Note: The field Intended start of APP is not mandatory.Therefore, leave this field unfilled if the employee notifies anintention to work up to the date of placement of the child.

      Procedure
      Maintain the Intended start APP field or the Actualplacement field with the relevant date.
