To confirm the validity of SCON S1301234T, take the supplied digits ofthe reference number and multipy as follows
1 x 8 = 8
3 x 7 = 21
0 x 6 = 0
1 x 5 = 5
2 x 4 = 8
3 x 3 = 9
4 x 2 = 8
Total = 59
Total + Fixed Value(51) = 110
DIVIDE 110 by 19 = 5 remainder 15
The remainder is then checked against a table of check letters toconfirm that the check letter is 'T'.
