SAP Message 5F008 - Entry date does not correspond to social insurance dates

Diagnosis
The entry date is neither 1st January nor 1st July. Both datescorrespond to the dates when Social Insurance updates the assessmentthresholds.

System Response
If you retian the entry date, the system informs you that you will notbe in phase with the SI assessment threshold validity dates.

Procedure
When you execute the current monthly payroll without offset
(between the processed period and payment period), you shouldonly update the assessment thresholds on the dates fixed by SocialInsurance. Change the entry date to 1st January or 1st July.
Example: Update your assessment thresholds by starting programRPUF1GF0 early in January, with 1st January as entry date. Process theJanuary payroll at the end of January by using the thresholds valid on1st January.
When you execute the current monthly payroll with offset
(between the processed period and payment period), you shouldupdate the assessment thresholds on the dates fixed by Social Insurance'< 1 month' Check that the entry date is 1st December or 1st June.

Example : Update your assessment thresholds by starting programRPUF1GF0 early in January, with 1st december of previous year as entrydate. Process the payroll from end of december to start of January byusing the assessment thresholds which have technical validity on 1stDecember but only become functional on 1st January.
