SAP Message 55103 - Note Direct Input: Update Mode &1 is unknown

Diagnosis
In direct input - parameter XYT_AUTO of function module NOTICE_OPENthere are note texts with update mode &V1&, but this mode is not known.
The following update modes are valid:

  • REPLACE

  • APPEND

  • PUTFIRST

    • System Response
    The system cannot save note texts correctly in the database.

    Procedure
    The program that calls function module NOTICE_OPEN passes on incorrectdata. Make a note of all entries that lead to this incorrect call, andsend a problem message to SAP.
