SAP Message 37889 - Windowing system &1 not supported in graphical layout editor

Diagnosis
The graphical layout editor is available for the following systems:

  • Windows 95/98

  • Windows NT

  • Motif (UNIX)

    • You tried to run the graphcal layout editor under a different windowingsystem.

    System Response
    The system switched automatically into the alphanumeric layout editor.This works on any platform and windowing system.

    Procedure
    Check whether your user-specific setting for the layout editor iscorrect, and change it if necessary.
    To reach the settings menu from the Repository Browser, choose"Settings->Tools..., Workbench->Screen Painter".
