Diagnosis
An internal error occurred in the layout editor when trying to exchangedata with the application server. The layout editor may have requesteda program service that the Screen Painter transaction on theapplication server could not provide.

System Response
The system assumes that the data cannot be transferred correctly andthat the graphical layout editor contains invalid data. It thereforeasks you whether you want to exit the editor program.

Procedure
If you choose "Yes", the program ends. Control returns to the ScreenPainter transaction on the application server and the alphanumericScreen Painter is started. Any changes you made since you last savedthe screen are lost. If you reset the graphical layout editor bychoosing "Settings -> Graph. Screen Painter", the system starts thegraphical editor again the next time you start the graphical ScreenPainter.
If you choose "No", you can carry on working with the graphical layouteditor and try other operations (such as "Cancel") to return control tothe Screen Painter transaction. If this fails, you should choose "Yes"to exit the program.
