Diagnosis
The required element occupies a position in its container that cannotbe made visible, even by scrolling. This is because another element isalready selected. Since all further processing steps require theselected element to be visible, the element cannot be selected.

Procedure
Edit the elements in the container one after the other, and ensure thatthe next element you want to edit is always in the visible part of thecontainer.
