Diagnosis
The "Graphical Screen Painter" setting is active in your case. Youwanted to branch to layout processing. The graphical Screen Painter,however, is not available. The reasons for this can be:
- You are not using any GUI for Windows.
- The system cannot find the program for the graphical Screen Painter.
- The program for the graphical Screen Painter cannot be called.
- You are using a Window system for which the graphical Screen Painter
is not supported.

System Response
For the duration of its session, the Screen Painter switches off thesetting "Graphical Layout Editor" and continues with the screen for thealphanumeric Screen Painter.

Procedure
You can permanently change the setting "Graphical Screen Painter" at anytime by activating or deactivating the setting through the menu pathSettings -> Graphical Screen Painter ... This change takes effectimmediately and remains for the duration of the Screen Painter session.
