Diagnosis
If the system were to move or copy the block to the desired cursorposition, at least one of its elements would exceed the screen border.Since the cursor position is always the top left-hand corner of thetarget block, only the right-hand or bottom edge can be at fault. The screen element would become so big that the right-hand or bottomedge would exceed the screen border. Procedure Reposition the cursor so that there is enough space to copy or move theobject. If this is not possible, you can cut the selected block and, ifnecessary, insert it into another screen. Alternatively, you can chooseF3 or "Deselect" to remove the marking without cutting, moving orcopying the block. Reduce the size of the screen element so that it falls within theright-hand and bottom edges (maintenance size) of the screen. If the maintenance size is insufficient, you can increase it on the"Screen attributes" screen. |
