Diagnosis
You want to change or display standard BOM &V1& in plant &V2&. You haveentered &V3& as the valid-from date.
This is not possible, as the standard BOM is not valid on &V3&.

System Response
The system checks the valid-from date of the BOM header.

Procedure
Please find out the validity period of the BOM.
To display the validity period, proceed as follows:

• Choose Standard BOM -> Display.

Delete all values in the validity section of the screen by entering thespecial character "!" at the beginning of each field.
Choose the Header qty/long text pushbutton.

• The next screen you see depends on the changes that have been made to
the BOM:
If the header data has not been changed with a change number, you seethe Header qty/long text detail screen.
If changes have been made with a change number, you see a headeroverview with the different validity periods.
